Logging In with Fortmatic or Portis Wallets

Fortmatic and Portis wallets are no longer supported as of March 31st 2025. You will need to migrate your wallet to continue using the app.

You will need to manually export your existing wallet from Fortmatic or Portis. Then import the wallet into Metamask. You can follow the steps in this Youtube tutorial:

Or visit the Switching Wallets support article for more details.

Why is migration necessary?

On Morpher, you control your funds with self-custody. We are not able to access your account by design (unlike traditional brokers and exchanges). This means you have to move your wallet by yourself, however, we cannot do this for you.

Why is support for Fortmatic and Portis ending?

These were exciting wallet solutions at the beginning of DeFi when Morpher first started. However, they have become costly, do not support advanced recovery, and experience frequent service interruptions. As far better wallet solutions have arrived, it is time to move on.

Why should I use Morpher Wallet?

Morpher Wallet is an open source, non-custodial, and recoverable wallet with military-grade encryption. It gives you seamless access to every Morpher market with just your Google login. Used by over 500,000 and counting.
