Bridge Funds from Ethereum to Base

Bridge ETH from Ethereum Mainnet to Base Network

Bridging enables you to move ETH from one blockchain to another. For example, you can move ETH from Ethereum mainnet to the Base network. Here we will show you how to easily bridge funds from your phone using the Metamask app. This is great if you accidentally sent ETH to your Morpher Wallet on the Ethereum Network instead of Base.

Instead of bridging, you can also send the ETH back to an exchange, from the Morpher web app. Here's a simple tutorial for sending ETH on mainnet.

Instructions

Bridging ETH from Ethereum to Base

Getting Metamask

  1. Install the Metamask app on your iOS or Android device: https://metamask.io/download

Exporing your Morpher Wallet

  1. Open your browser and navigate to wallet.morpher.com/login
  2. Sign in using your Morpher account
  3. Tap on Settings
  4. Tap on Export Wallet
  5. Tap on Export Seed Phrase
  6. Enter your email or 2FA verification Code
  7. Tap on Copy to Clipboard

Importing your wallet into Metamask

  1. Launch Metamask
  2. Tap on Accounts and select Import a Wallet
  3. Paste the Seed Phrase from Morpher Wallet

Swapping from Ethereum to Base

  1. In the Metamask homescreen, tap on Swap
  2. Select ETH on Ethereum for the token to swap
  3. For the second token, find ETH on Base. You may first want to select Base Network, then select ETH.
  4. Finally, enter an amount and tap on Swap

Now you have ETH on Base, which you will see automatically detected in the Morpher app when you go to Deposit or Trade.

To Deposit the ETH, just visit the Funds page in mobile or web. The ETH should automatically appear under quick deposits. Tap on it to convert into MPH and start trading!
