Resetting Metamask

Metamask offers its users more control over wallet operations, as well as security and ownership of their keys. However, with the added flexibility comes a dose of complexity, which may cause the browser-extension wallet to behave strangely.

While Metamask errors are uncommon, it's important to know what to do if you encounter issues with your wallet, as they may impact your trading experience on Morpher.

This article is only relevant to Metamask wallet users.

Possible Issues

Your Metamask extension may need to be reset if you are experiencing any of the following issues:

Glitches in the user interface of the browser extension.
Your transaction fails to show up on Morpher's sidechain explorer, or in Etherscan.
A pending transaction refuses to clear, or is pending for hours or days.
Your wallet keeps switching between different networks/chains.
You are trying to place a trade on Morpher and it's loading indefinitely with no indication of an error.

Before seeking the assistance of our support staff, we encourage you to reset your Metamask wallet and try again.
